From Daughter in law to
Mother in law
      Mother
If I could give you diamonds
For each tear you cried for me.
If I could five you sapphires
For each truth you’ve helped me see.
If I could give you rubies
For the heartache that you’ve known
If I could give you pearls
For the wisdom that you’ve shown.
Then you’ll have a treasure, mother,
That would mount up to the skies
        That would almost match
The sparkle in your kind and loving eyes.
But I have no pearls, no diamonds,
As I’m sure you’re well aware
So I’ll give you gifts more precious
                     My devotion, love and care.

To My Other Mother
You are the other mother I received
The day I wed your son
And I just want to thank you , Mom
                     For loving things you've done.
You've given me a gracious man
With whom I share my life.
              You are his lovely mother
                     And I his lucky wife.
You used to pat his little head
And now I hold his hand.
You raised in love a little boy
And then gave me the man .
Much honor and respect to you
              From a loving daughter-in-law

To Dad From Your Son
Sometimes with all the
     Business of life,
We forget to take the time
To say “Thank You” to the
                Ones we love the most
You were were my strength
When I was facing something new
         You were there to encourage
            When I made mistakes and
       Provided a limit at times
            To protect me from myself
So thank you for being there
And giving me a clear path to follow
I just hope I can be half the Man
You showed me how to be
This print is available in 8 X 10, in

To My Grown-Up Children
My hands were busy through the day;
I didn't have much time to play
The little games you asked me to.
I didn't have much time for you,
I'd wash your clothes, I'd sew and cook
But when you'd bring your picture book
And ask me please to share your play
I'd say:"A little later in the day."
I'd tuck you in all safe at night
And hear your prayers, turn out the light,
                Then tip-toe softly to the door. . . .
                        I'd wish I'd stayed a little more.
For life is short, the years rush past. . .
A little child grows up so fast.
They are no longer at your side.
                    Their precious secrets to confide.
The picture books are put away.
       There are no longer games
To Our Son
When you were a little boy,
We loved to watch you play
With matchbox cars and baseball cards
              And a towel made a hero’s cape
And as you grew your toys did too
To headphones and cars and such
And you made mistakes and had some hurts
With the girls, learned a gentler touch
And we watched as you tried your wings
And crashed to earth a few times
But soon you learned to use the storms
As the eagle.......to rise above strife
As we look at you now, we are so proud
Of the man we see today
                   Your values are strong,
                         Your choices are good
And God is your guide and stay
We are so proud of you, Son
  To My
               Daughter
When you were small, I dreamed for you
               As every parent does
As I watched you in your crib
A dream of lace and ruffles and curls
As you went to school, I dreamed for you
As I walked you to your class
A dream that you would have success
A dream of friends both boys and girls
As we went to church, I prayed for you
A prayer for safety and peace
I feared for you as you faced the world
                         And prayed for
                                     Wisdom and strength
Now I offer up thanksgiving and praise
Now that you are on your own
Praise that you’re all I dreamed you’d be
Praise for the way you have
"My Sister" also comes in another version which is more suitable for a gift from sister to sister.  It is called "Sisters"  Both these versions also come in an oval print and frame

For My Grandmother

Some of my
        Happiest memories
Are of times I spent with you
All of the Sundays and holidays
And tables of dumplings or stew
But the most special times are the ones
When there was only you and me
Taking a walk or reading a book
Or riding horsie on your knee
In all of the trying times of my life
One memory rings good and true.
I’m so lucky to have and to love
A grandmother as wonderful as you

         My Sister
       How special
                 Are the memories
       Of pretend games and play
Of secrets shared and fights and jokes
And trips in the car on the way
And though we are grown
And have lives of our own
I thank my God above
For my precious sister, my friend
             To have,
                    To remember,
                             To love.
