A Classic, now out of print. Is a facsimile of the 1894 edition with over 250 illustrations. Cover a bit tattered but book is in excellent condition. Originally published in 1894, "The World's Rail Way" is a collector's item, and definitely the "They-don't make-'em-like-this-anymore" category. Mator Pangborn, an officer of the B&O in her heyday, was responsible for the impressive railway eshibit shown at the Columbian Exhibition of 1883 in Chicago. To the scale models, drawings and relics he gathered together for the Exhibition, he added the ferbor of a railroad buff and the expertise of a railroad executive. The result is a volume that does for the locomotive what Boswell did for Johnson.    $15.00
